Cabins near The 'Hang Out'
« on: May 21, 2008, 10:38:59 AM »
Guys and Gals,

I spoke with the folks who rent the cabins near my place and they have availability on our weekend. They are kinda steep, $129.00 a night. An alternative is a small town, Skiatook, about 8 miles to the north, or anywhere in Tulsa. Keep in mind, the 'hang out' place as I call it is about 8 miles NW of downtown Tulsa.

I believe I will rent 1 cabin for Friday and Saturday night and it can be used for whatever and whomever. You can shower, chill, whatever. Hopefully the weather will not be too hot and we can camp in tents or whatever is your pleasure on my land.

If you are interested in a cabin, please let me know here.

You can view the cabin information here:

Thanks,
Dave

Hey John! Yes, I am setting up camp so to speak on my land NW of downtown. If you know where Zink Ranch is, exactly 3 miles east of there. I will find some Google Map links to the place and post soon.

I am setting up a 30x30 tent, we will have a cabin rented (walking distance), looking into a Porta John, will have a generator and A/C for a camping tent or just sucking up cool air. There will be vitles as well.

Guys from Wichita will roll in around noon of Friday. I will be onsite Friday morning through the weekend so come all you can.

Are you putting you car in the show on Sunday?

Stay tuned!

Dave

No... Sad to say that I haven't done anything to the car since you saw it last year except for the new clutch. Too many projects and not enough time... Currently I'm painting a few engine parts, cleaning up the intake manifold and installing a new carb.
