Still monitoring this site and was sad it was down and wondering if I'd ever see this site again. Sigh of relief when I finally saw it back up! I like to read all the posts about projects, etc.  I heard there is a Pinto Facebook group?  But I'm not on Facebook. Here in Phoenix the triple digit temps are done with and so we will be taking our '78 blue Pinto out of storage this week. It doesn't have AC.  Around 33,000 miles and complete engine rebuild back in May.  Sept. 2025 we will have owned our Pinto for 20 years! We're considering moving back to MN after nearly 5 years in AZ.  AZ not to our liking, MN not to our liking, but family back there.  We keep waiting for the right house to come to market. When and if we move back, the Pinto goes with, of course!  Wondering if our Pinto picture will appear next to this post.  If it doesn't I'll have to figure out how to post a new picture.  She's a beauty!

I was very happy to see that the site was working again too! I am not blessed with any mechanical ability and am amazed at the range of talent that others possess. I really enjoy following the projects that others are doing. Right before Hurricanes Helene and Milton, my Pinto went to its "second home" at my mechanic's shop to get 5 new tires and address some minor mechanical issues. Hopefully there will be no more hurricanes to further delay the work!
