get a trailer, get a friend, get the car, use friend mercilessly, lose friend, enjoy fresh rebuilt car :D

Actually just the 1st 3 in that list, you'll need a friend to help load & share driving chores with you. I forget if that's too far away from you, but TRUST me it's better to go get it yourself than to have it shipped. Ask around, I'm sure it'll cost you almost as much as the car itself to ship it.

I recieved about 4 quotes today... HOLY COW... :o  anywhere from 850.00 to 1050.00 to bring to me, one lady said to my door. If I went and got it it would be to my door as well. Going to make a week of it i think, Going to drive the Silverado out there and rent a trailer to haul it back... driving is not the issue with me. I trailer my Samurai all over the states anyway... just another project.. Can't wait.

P.S. where is the line between hobby and obsession?

With a hobby you still take time & save money to eat. With an obsession eating is TOTALLY optional (then only if the buddy mentioned above buys :D ) Thankfully my wife keeps my hobby from becoming an obsession LOL
