Insurance/Appraisal
« on: June 04, 2010, 08:07:27 PM »
Hi all. First I would like to say that I think my Pinto love is growing everyday. With that I've also noticed that the price of Pinto's are on the steady incline since I began dealing with them a couple years back. This has sparked some new initiative for me to get mine appraised and consider some type of insurance for them in case of a disaster or something considering this (these cars) are my life investment.

Who does the type of appraisal I'm looking for and what insurance do you need? Does homeowners insurance cover cars that are just stored and not licensed? What about my driver? Haggardy? Thanks

i dont think a specialty insurance like hagerty or grundy will deal with a daily driver.  when i was looking into hot rod insurance for my pinto, they needed to know about my daily driver.  they dont want to hear that your driving it daily or driving it to work.
